Originated from a cross-border
investigation in 2018
Asians enjoy using chives as a culinary ingredient, while most Westerners are quite averse to its taste. During a cross-cultural study, I learned of their metaphor for “chives” – “cutting chives” – which is used to describe information gap or information asymmetry.
It is a very resilient plant, even if a farmer cuts off its leaves with a knife, it will grow back soon; a gift. Because those who reap in the financial market always smile sweetly
